Understanding Incoterms 2020 for International Trade
Delve into the interpretation of International Commercial Terms (INCOTERMS) & the various aspects of cargo loading, inspection, and documentation procedures.
INCOTERMS is globally recognised set of international commercial terms published by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and facilitates global commerce, preventing confusion in foreign trade contracts by clarifying the obligations of buyers and sellers.
Learning Outcomes
- Interpret concepts of International Commercial Terms (INCOTERMS) and pre-loading, post-loading and post-charging cargo loading and inspection documentation
- Prepare clear and concise cargo inspection and documentation instructions using effective policy and procedure writing skills
- Implement cargo loading and unloading receipt, inspection processes, and cargo labelling to ensure cargo is handled correctly
- Interpret the concept of pre-loading, post-loading, and post-charging loading documentation and improve cargo-related documentation processes using effective policy and procedure writing skills
Professionals, Managers and Executives (PMEs) or team leader from the logistics and related sectors in supply chain, shipping, transportation and storage, freight, cargo, warehouse and procurement.
Entry Requirements
1) Age 21 years or above and have at least 2 years of work experience in team leader or executive position.
2) Able to speak, listen, read and write English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills WSQ Level 3 WPL (Comprehensive) and WPN.

Participants who achieve at least 75% attendance and pass the end-of-course assessment will be awarded the Statement of Attainment
