A very warm welcome to you to the Singapore Chinese Chamber Institute of Business (SCCIOB)!

With more than 30 years of training experience, SCCIOB’s hallmark lies in its excellent delivery of well-structured training programmes that are practical and industry-relevant. That explains the high number of referrals and recurring students, earning SCCIOB a solid reputation in the training industry as a leading provider of language, business and immersion programmes in Singapore. Quality assurance and training excellence are the key priorities of SCCIOB. Our training framework has established and robust built-in processes that cover areas like course development, trainers’ selection, training delivery and training evaluation in the management system enable us to provide quality training and in achieving training excellence. We also believe that a conducive learning environment maximises learning capacity. Thus in SCCIOB, we invest in technologies and resources to provide students with the required learning facilities and student support services.

SCCIOB is proud to have a strong Alumni Club that organises a variety of activities such as talks, seminars, reunion functions etc. with the objectives of forging closer ties between the students, strengthening the bond between students and the Institute and to also bring about a wide network of contacts where students look out for one another. The institute’s affiliation with the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, which has a large membership network of trade associations and corporate entities, also provides students with a networking platform for business, cultural and developmental opportunities.

Towards Training Excellence

The Institute caters to the learning and development needs of a wide variety of trainees and students, including industry/company leaders, senior managers and working professionals, both local and international. The programmes offered can be broadly classified under business studies, language & culture studies, skills training and customised programmes. Being a wholly owned subsidiary of SCCCI, most of our programmes are run in Mandarin, to cater to the needs of SMEs and the Chinese business community.

Each year, over 3,000 students are enrolled into our training programmes. To ensure that our students have a conducive learning environment, we have a total of 9 training & computer rooms (of which the seating capacity ranges from 19 to 73 per class) in our Hill Street campus, which can accommodate at least 300 students at any one time. It is our commitment to provide high quality training programmes to optimise the learning outcome of our students. Apart from full-time trainers, we have a total of more than 100 trainers selected from among prominent academics, industry leaders and professional practitioners..

With the experience gathered over the past 30 years, we have put in place sound internal processes that ensure smooth business operations so as to create the best possible learning environment for our students. To make continuous improvements in our training systems and delivery, we believe in hearing from our students. Thus, apart from having regular contact point sessions with students, we have put in place a student feedback system where students can provide us with their feedback or suggestions. In your learning journey with us, we hope that students will make full use of our facilities and resources so that they would fully benefit from their stay with the institute.
